Hershey Bears forward Hendrix Lapierre has been named AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 16.
The 23-year-old recorded two goals and three assists for five points in two games last week, helping Hershey win both.
Lapierre recorded a goal and assist in a 5-4 win of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Tuesday before following it up with a three-point game, including the overtime winner, in a 4-3 win on Saturday.
A first round pick of the Capitals in 2020, Lapierre has two goals and 11 points in 13 games with Hershey and eight assists in 27 games with the Washington Capitals this season.
Lapierre won the 2023 and 2024 Calder Cup with Hershey and took home the Jack Butterfield Trophy in 2024 as Calder Cup Playoff MVP after posting 22 points in 20 games.
He has 58 points in 94 career AHL games.
With the two wins the Bears sit atop the AHL's Atlantic Division and are tied for the league lead in points with 65.
